Silent Panorama

Nicolas Piret is a Belgian artist and filmmaker, graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and with a master's degree in animation from ENSAV La Cambre. He directed his graduation short film La bride - The Dog's Leash (2022), which was selected for the Student Academy Awards®. After an artist residency in Brussels, he directed Silent Panorama (2024), which had its world premiere at the Rotterdam International Film Festival. His films, blending traditional hand-drawn animation and experimental approaches, have been showcased at prestigious international festivals, including IFFR, Edinburgh, Annecy, Karlovy Vary, and Toronto (TIFF).
